Desdia parents are never bred until they are 2 years old and have hip and elbow clearances from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) to know for certain they are free of hip and elbow dysplasia.  Their eyes are cleared with CERF - The Canine Eye Registration Foundation.  Hearts are cleared by a board certified Cardiologist. 

Our puppies are born and raised right in our home.  They have their very own bedroom off of our family room where they are exposed to adults and children of all ages.  They are surrounded by sounds and noises like TV, radio, vacuums, music and other pets.  Desdia puppies are held, bathed, toenails trimmed, groomed and even taught to show stack from a very early age.   Before they leave our home they will be trained to use a doggy door and be introduced to crate training...  and depending on the size of the litter may be completely crate trained at night by the time thy leave at 8 weeks.  We want our puppies to be happy and confident when they leave us and their mom!

Desdia puppies go home at 8 weeks old and come with AKC pet registration and a 26 month health guarantee.  They will have been given their first round of shots and will be thoroughly checked by a veterinarian.... hearts included.  You will be given a packet that includes copies of all of their parents health clearances, pedigree and pictures since birth.
